Does that mean you might find someone who is loving, funny, caring, intelligent, cultured, creative, lively, adventurous, spontaneous, talkative, occasionally exasperating, loyal to a fault and (some say) handsome, especially for a cool dude nearing his 60's? Yep. What do I get out of this? I imagine a lot of emails from Nigerian princes wanting to leave me millions of dollars or ways to increase my libido and a few angry emails. What do I hope to get out of this? The satisfaction that rather than sit on my ass and regret that I feel powerless to help the most amazing man in my life meet a woman who sets his soul on fire, I did something to help connect my father with an amazing woman; someone who is loving, caring, compassionate, kind, intellectual, creative, spontaneous, emotionally secure, outdoorsy, funny, friendly, GENUINE, cool and (some say) beautiful. Yes, it's a tall order, I know. But I figure since we're being honest, I'm not going to beat around the bush. Oh yeah, bonus points for those who love dogs and the ocean and getting to know new people and the occasional spirited discussion amongst friends. I'm sure there are all kinds of qualities in him (and you hopefully) that I have not mentioned... that's part of the fun in possibility, right?

How this works? I'm not exactly sure. This is a spontaneous effort on my part and I'm playing it by ear at the moment. I'm hoping that if you are interested in getting to know more about my dad, you will contact me and tell me about yourself. I hope that you will be honest and genuine. I ran this hair-brained idea past my wife and she said that if it did work, we three might be able to meet for coffee or something. I honestly don't know... who can predict the future?
